There's bigger planters than that coming down the road. We bought this place in 1989, been fun watching the progression of farm equipment since then, used to be Farmall Ms , 560s and so on. John Deere's were 3010s on up, lots of 4440s and a few Cases. One of my favorites was two 4840 JDs, both had chrome stacks and really sounded tuff driving past, haven't seen one in over 10 years and now one showed up a couple weeks ago, heard it coming, sounds mean, looks good. It's been past 4 or 5 times. But I can't believe how big every thing got in the last 5 or 6 years and everything looks new, and where are they going, some must have ground rented miles in every direction.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
