Oh, mate. Youre pushing the memory a bit! LOL I seem to remember that you loosen the bolts that hold the pedal to the clutch shaft. Pushing the pedal down, there should be no resistance for around half inch or inch of travel, then it should be hard until you get to around 2 inches from the footrest. Then it should be harder again and that feel is the pto clutch part of it. Try that first. You may need to loosen off the bolts and twist the shaft to the right to decrease the freeplay to that half inch or so. If no joy with it, have a look inside after taking off the tin plate underneath. You may be able to see if there are any worn or broken bolts that the thrust bearing pushes on. Hopefully it may be just adjustments. Rx
