From a buyer's standpoint,I almost never use cash for anything-the money in my wallet will stay there for months at a time.Using credit cards,I get a statement telling me where I spent money,and I only write 1 check.Cash can be lost or stolen,and would not be replaceable.Credit card lost: just call them up,and cancel,and get a new one.No loss.A few small businesses that I have talked to,said taking cards increased their business.Since I and lots of people don't carry cash,businesses that take cards benefit taking cards. A few years ago I was selling hay,and it was getting dark out and breezy,and my customer was paying cash,even though I knew him and would have taken a check,and some cash blew out of his hand.We never found it and he was upset at himself.Cash to me is unhandy,you have to carry a small fortune just to pay gas and groceries.Credit is easier,and also I understand they will help you with warranty complaints in some cases.Mark

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
