I suspect that there are very few people living or dead that have never said a thing or advocated for things that many would find offensive as time passed. I am not saying it happened in In this situation but many times as we have seen over time is a kind of bait question simply and plainly meant to put you in a position that has no good way out. No matter how you answer your screwed. You ask someone what they think and based on the theory of free speech they answer only to find our free speech is only meant for the politically correct crowd there that day. Your free speech means nothing to those who disagree with you. The general consensus today seems to be if you disagree with some one you simply have to talk louder and do what ever its take to run them down and ruin their reputation. The truth seems to have little or no use to this crowd. This election cycle has had more than it's fair share of this very thing. I liked John Wayne but he never served in the military. He didn't do anything wrong as I know it he simply followed the rules and was able to stay out of the war. What happened to the Native Americans as we look back now seems to be the worst of the worst. When you put it in the context of the time it was a war, may well have been totally wrong but war none the less and they lost. The spoils of war do not go to the one who lost. With respect to the statements about the Black community this was a time when equal opportunity was really being pushed and a great many highly qualified people were passed over for positions that had to be filled by minority quota systems that looked more at the appearance of doing the right thing rather than using the best person for the job. Many poorly educated and under qualified people were promoted simply to pacify the politically correct crowd.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
