What part of no don't you understand?
What else did he do to deserve it? Acting doesn't count. What did he do for humankind except subject us to "saddle up" and "move out" again and again and again?
I was responding to the claim he'd been on Guadalcanal and bothered to look it up to see where it would say for certain that he had been there. I mention what I had found that suggested he avoided serving for various reasons one being to further his career.
I covered what I feel is deserving of reconciliation responding to you before. Acting, good or bad isn't in my list. Others have cure diseases, invented things that make our lives better. Some have taken risks for humankind that others haven't. So what did he do that deserves this recognition?

I'd support a day honoring him long before I supported a day honoring Wayne.
I pay absolutely no attention to movie, TV or music awards because in my view they are very unimportant in the scheme of things. How soft toilet paper is more important to my day to day life than that garbage.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
