I called the dealer and they could not find this code in the book and they where going to call the factory but never called back. Harvey I have a 6640 with a code e24 it won't move until clutch is released to the top then it jumps. What causes this? michael e46 is usually a follow uo to a blown fuse something to witht he gearbox. i drove a 8340 sle and it brought up e46 but it goes away when the fuse is replaced, i dont know what the fuse is but this problem happened after the e41 code came up t e46 on the 7740 is #12 fuse blown dont know if it is the same might look t the #12 fuse is located in the bottom left corner of your fuse box on the right hand side of steering box in the cab. hope this will help
