It must be the day for freak stuff. A week ago today,on the way to the sale barn, the trailer fault light came on in the dash of my 07 250. I kept going, got to the stockyard and shut the truck off. When I started it,the light turned off. The wife got out and checked all the lights on the stock trailer, they were OK. I activated the brakes with the switch and it lit up again. I shut off the ignition and it stopped again. When I got home and unhooked,I tried it with the trailer unhooked. It came on again, which is normal I guess, but it should have shut off in a few seconds and didn't. When I turned the key off,it went off. Saturday,I checked all the fuses, pulled the plug out of the receptacle and checked all the wires, everything looked good. I hit the switch again,it lit up the trailer fault, but then it shut off in a few seconds.
Today,I hooked on to the flatbed gooseneck, pulled ahead, stepped on the brake and it came on again. I shut it off, started it up again and tried the left turn signal. The warning came on. I tried the right signal and it shut off. I tried the left again,it was fine. Tried the brakes, good. I hauled two loads of hay and hauled the tractor home and it never came on again.

But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
