There's a highway north from there that travel along the west side of the MO river. 1806 I think. Indian owned and maintained (not). I drive it sometimes just to relax Maybe see 10 ranches in 100 miles. Lots of PD on both sides. Poached quits a few in my life but never went to ranch homes for permission. Would bet a case of whisky would get you a bunch of shooting. I always carried a .22 WMR for quiet shootin in unknown parts. 22-250 REM 700 HB or old Winchester .220 Swift HB. for others. Jerry's Motel, about a ten unit dump is there ,cheap. And she serves great greasy burgers to boot. Next best place in SD for most PD is Shannon County. But is mostly Indian and you have to try to find a sober one to get on the land. If you do make a deal with an a Sioux for guide or land trespass get it in writing. They are known to give you permission for cash, on OTHER PEOPLES LAND. Walleyes are hitting like crazy in the river. We nabbed a dozen in an hour from shore Wed evening in Chamberlain inside city limits. Go figure. Did better than the guys with their 50k dollar Lund boats.. About 18 inchers.

No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
