Call Yetter! If it is as you think, they probably have a fix for it. It could be that the (Chinese) rubber molder got the shrink factor wrong when they made the mold, and it is too big. Also some process error might have caused it to shrink less when it came out of the mold. We used to have numerous problems molding plastic parts. You have to use correct heat of the vulcanizing process, correct time in the mold, and correct ambient temperature to keep getting a consistent part. Sometimes the first number of parts of a production run should be thrown away. The molds need to be the correct temperature all the time if you want a consistent part. It could be that the rims are tapered slightly. If that is the case, it should get tight when you bolt the 2 halves together. Of course that would only help if the parts are right.
