sounds plausible ,.. in county government ,, we occassionaly get sued ,,. tort claims and so forth ,,I recall a case we settled for 5 k .when I knew damwell the guy was a crook ..trouble was .we will have to spend 15 k to prove we were right and to prove the plantiff has no valid case .. my intitial offer of 2500 was scoffed at , but within 24hours they come back with 5 k,, I was pizt,and was out voted by the other commissioners,,but we saved the county 10 k ,.not really ,, that no account cost the county 5 grand and was derilict of his duties every day he worked for the county . .
