Bret; I read that to mean you believe that as long as I am driving a personal pickup (not a CMV) there is nothing the DOT can do to me. So tell me why do they have "Materials of Trade" exemptions? If DOT rules do not apply to small trucks why have a exemption.
DOT rules apply to everyone. Just because the DOT chooses not to enforce safety rules on everyone does not mean they do not apply. Lets get the out of town big truck and leave the local John Doe alone. John Doe and his friends can vote us out of our jobs.
