It feels good to get done with the 1st cutting. I finished mine yesterday. This has been a very unusual May. My last that I baled had a little rain on it but it wasn't hurt too bad. The humidity has been very low so most of the hay is good quality. Last year I hadn't even started before June 1st and it was to mature befor I got done.
Rain is falling now so a 2nd cutting should be coming off in a few weeks.
