We had a 1948 IH K6 on the farm that was a retired over-the-road tractor in it's first life. It pulled a trailer from I Falls to Minneapolis on a regular basis. It was a sweet old thing to drive, a big 6 with a 5 speed with 2 speed rear end. I learned to double clutch in it, about 1966.
