Sold a rather expensive Hermes English saddle on Ebay to a guy in Virginia. After a few weeks I asked if he got it and he said no. UPS "lost" it and couldn't find a trace. We were ready to file an insurance claim. Buyer really wanted the saddle more badly than the money. By freak chance one of the managers noticed a box with a destroyed label but could make out my wife's name. He knew her personally from all the business her company does with them. Called her and they made out a new label. Guy got his saddle a month late but he wasn't POed, just happy to get it.
