Jeff, I bought the tractor in late June and I've worked on it every spare hour since then. Although, I bought the tractor/loader/backhoe for only $450, it's been a money pit since then. I didn't realize at the time the tractor parts were so rare and expesive. Knowing then what I know now, I probably would have bought a more popular 35 -40 HP utility tractor for the core tractor and mounted the loader and backhoe on it. The loader and backhoe are in good shape and only have to replace 1 of the outrigger stabilizers which I've already located in a salvage yard. So far I've put in another $1025 in brakes, sheetmetal, power steering pump, gas tank, engine rebuild, carburetor, water pump, etc. I know I'm going to have to put in another $1500 - $2000 for 4 tires (2 rear & 2 front which are vintage 1959) , gauges, radiator, outrigger, paint, seat, decals, etc. Plus I may have to replace the Case-O-Matic with a standard dry clutch arrangement which may be another $500 - $1000.
