Forget about ever getting that tractor to handle a mower, it will not happen. Look for a 660 or 661 that both will have live PTO that you need for safty with that mower, just stomp the clutch clear down and everything will stop, halfway down and tractor will stop and mower keep on running. And that 5 speed tranny has a lower gear that you will need for the mower. With a 4 speed 640 or 641 you will not have thw slow speed you are going to need but will need that over running PTO coupler, same thing with a 5 speed 650 or 651 no live pto. And you cannot put a live pto in a 4 speed tractor that you have and to buy all the parts used at a parts yard to get a 3 point hitch with the lift and a PTO without figuring any labor and it doesent sound like you are qualified to do the work or you would not have to ask what it would take to upgrade your tractor to a 641 you will have more than twice in a non working atempt than it would cost you to park what you now have and go out and buy TWO corectly equiped tractors.
