I read a post on another site the other night regarding gun control/confiscation, and those that were for it.
He said he looked those people straight in the eye and asked them if they were willing to go door to door and try to take guns away from every owner. If so, were they ready to lay down their life in order to accomplish their goal?
He then told them he was more than willing to lay down his life in defense of our Constitutional Rights, and unless they were just as willing to do the same as he was, they needed to rethink their stance.
He said most don't understand that level of commitment in regard to protectng anything, much less their Constitutional Rights. That said anyone that has ever served in the Military has taken an oath to protect this Country, and defend the Constitution from all enemies both DOMESTIC, as well as foreign. The way I see it, just because you get a DD214, the oath taken doesn't go away. If 'the Government', and it's 'agents' decide to stop being public servants and decide they want to be masters, and criminals as a result, it's beyond criminal not to protect the USA from them.
Beyond that all I can say is that, as the infamous quote goes, MOLON LABE
