It seems like I always bust a knuckle or something while working on anything. Usually wiped it off with a dirty rag and kept on going. I got a bad cut one day and my wife said to soak it in kerosene, that was what her family did for cuts and they never got sore or infected. So I tried it and it worked, no soreness or redness and it healed right up. I got to thinking in the past while working on cars & tractors I usually got grease in the cut while working on it and no problems, but if i bust my shin it always gets red and sore. Aren't most of the antibiotic ointments petroleum based??
