As said, the B and BN are the same tractor except the 4" shorter housings and corresponding 8" narrower drawbar. You can spot a BN easily if equipped with the original seat by the seat support almost touching the fender on the BN. There will be a 4" gap on the B between the right fender and the seat.
The B and BN came with a narrow front, either two wheels or a single wheel. The A only had a wide front.
Not that things haven't been mixed and matched over the years but above is how they come from the factory from what I know. I've even seen a picture of a B without the axel housings, not factory. Talk about narrow!
