It's been one of those days. We have had an inch of rain in the last 24 hours. I'm never one to turn away June rain, but there are 700 acres of beans not in yet. It's been hot so it is drying pretty quick. I had to tie up the header on the combine to be ready to cut wheat - that will be Sunday most likely. Then the pump went out on the sprayer so I resealed it. Then I serviced the 8430 to cultivate ground to plant beans. At that point I saw the water pump was out on it. I've spent a couple of hours getting that off - the new one comes in the morning. I'm beat. I just walked in the door to shower so we can go to dinner with friends. I don't feel like eating - water is the only thing that sounds good. I just looked at my phone. The heat index is 119 degrees. No wonder. I can't wait to get up in the morning and start living the dream all over again.

The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
