I am not a good judge of distance or acreage . I know I want X amount per acre and I have lots of irregular shaped areas .
I found on Google maps you can find your land , right click your screen and pick the last option from the pop up window "Measure distance" . You can keep left clicking to add more dots around the perimeter of the field until you reach the starting point . Then it will tell you total distance and square footage (43,560 sq ft = 1 acre)
Now I know how much 2,4d I need or when it comes time to clean / stock the ponds I can give an accurate size when asking for advise .
