I love the people who have the power to say ( CAN'T ) isn't in their vocabulary.
My father was in a accident in 1957, lost 100% of his eye site at the age of 29. He built kitchens, gun cabinets, china hutch's, We turned out 10,000 turkeys call per week for Scotch Game Call Co. He built house's, overhauled engines & we took care of 8000 laying hens rebuilt hay wagons, manure spreaders for about every farmer in the county. About the only thing he couldn't do was Hunt & Drive. He could lay 4 course's of shingles faster than my brother & I could + they were straighter & never bent a nail over.
Not many 29 year old men today could or would have done what Dad did with out any kind of public assistance + raise 4 children by himself dew to a divorce.. My Sister at the age of 12 raise her 3 siblings paid all the bills, kept the house/cloths & dish's clean. Today she is a happy married woman who has a very well to do life & a house keeper. She deserves it! We were a very happy family. Sadly he passed away at the age of 46 from a brain tumor. I Miss him everyday.
