Good luck, and life is short, so best to do things you want while you can. Wife and I have been doing a lot of planning lately, and trying to get everything in order so we can retire. We have spent 3 trips to a financial planner, changing some investments, reviewing our 401K plans, etc. My plan is to try to retire at 62 (I am almost 57). I would retire tomorrow if financially able. I have worked full time since I was 18, and I have seen far too many either pass on before they get the chance to retire, or retire and are gone within a very short time. I work to live, not the other way around. With this said, I have a very good job, very thankful for it, enjoy it for the most part, but I have far too many things I have not seen/done, and things I want to do before it is my time. I had a "mild" stroke about 10 years ago, which gave me a little different look on life, and then realized how quickly this life can be gone. My dad always said he came into this world with nothing, may as well go out the same way. I know if I have much to say about it, I would like to spend my last dime just as I take my last breath, but I doubt I have much say in that matter. Best wishes to you - enjoy.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Not a place one would associate with farms or farm machinery. I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
