Pete, I think, hope, and pray that they will be OK, and if history is any indicator and with ambition, they will be. Take our nation for example. We LEFT a tyrannical government to come here, and they followed us and tried to impose tyranny here upon us. Since that time it hasn't always been easy, although these days all too many think that it should be. The same can be said for instance about the United Kingdom that was being bombed into oblivion during WWII, but they persevered. Anyone in the United Kingdom that thinks that this move is going to be all cherry pie is completely wrong, but anyone that thinks that this move is going to cause the world to veer off of its axis and go flying into some black hole is more wrong. There are going to be growing pains and there's going to have to be a lot of mopping up and scrubbing floors and using pitch forks to clean up manure from the barn stalls, but it'll get done with effort and pride. We as a nation can and should learn from what they did, from them for a change. Time to pick ourselves up and get back in the game to win instead of sitting around and crying that no one's carrying us across finish lines.
My father came through Ellis Island off of the boat from Poland after having spent time in a concentration camp. I knew him as a proud man that took nothing for granted that preferred to work for what he had, and that rubbed off on me. God bless his soul, may he rest in peace, and I will always be grateful for what he did and taught me.
Pete and others, we celebrate our Independence Day, 4th of July in just over a week. We celebrate our Declaration of Independence from tyrannical governments as well as our Constitution that affirms and confirms our God given rights for freedom and liberty. We should not deny anyone else (ie: United Kingdom) the same, and given what they just did and the way that we are headed as a nation, I sincerely hope that we learn something from this.

It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
