I called a local fork lift company and they said that they needed more information as to what kind of fork lift would have this valve - i.e.-Toyota, etc. He was also concerned that it would eat away at the rubber parts, but the price was low enough that it is worth a try anyway. Would you give me some more specifics regarding what fork lifts use this valve. Thanks, : : : Go to a lift truck dealership and ask for an ITT #1154 lockoff solenoid. : : : When plumbing it in run a ground wire to one of the 4 screws holding the valve together. : : : Used this same setup on many units in the industrial fleet I ran. : : Are these valves for gasoline or lp gas? The application is for a gasoline cutoff for an Oliver tractor. I said 'gas', but I meant 'gasoline'. Will the valve work with the latter? : : Thanks, : In a word, yes. Valve is intended for LP but we used them successfully on gasoline.
