I have a neighbor who is about to sell his property. I am getting a bunch of stuff from him and disposing of it. The bucket of Blue Ribbon grease must be thirty years old and there is also an open topped 55 gal barrel of used motor oil that has had a loose cover over it. I expect the grease to be ok to use, but would the used motor oil be ok to burn in a Used Oil Furnace? I thought I could pump all but the bottom few inches out, take that to a business in town, and then burn the bottom oil on a brush pile. Without the barrel being sealed and it being in the back of an open bay garage stall, I thought it might have some muck/mud in the bottom. Thank you SDE
