The best I can tell you is to look it up on the Nebraska test, and compare it to others the same size, as far as fuel consumption goes it isn't any different then the next brand of the same size and age. I run the same engine in a 2745 Massey and it is an amazing engine for a V8, it has great low end torque. I wouldn't be scared of buying it but then, I love my Masseys! LOL
