Look up the Nebraska Tractor test (#1134 ?) and compare fuel consumption with other tractors at the loads you would be using.
That sounds like it could be a well taken care or tractor. The tires should be worth $2000 or more. That leaves just $3000 for the rest of the tractor with an 84dB cab. You could treat it as a "disposable" tractor, i.e. use it reasonably and replace if it ever has a major breakdown that is too expensive to repair. If you can get the A/C in the cab working and if can use it on loads that don't lug it down it could work well for a long time. You shouldn't loose much on it if you have to send it to a salvage yard, so I'd take the chance on it.
