You all never fail me. When John Deere says something is no longer available someone knows the part number.
I have a 1508 rotary mower. I hate that thing, but that's irrelevant. I can't leave it folded any longer than putting it through a gate or something because the dipsticks on the wing gear boxes are so worn out that they leak gear out unless they are down. The dipsticks are about six inches long and are white plastic. It looks like NPT pipe thread at the top end so I thought I would use a pipe plug. Nope, not the same. Anyone know if those are truly no longer available?
