filters are made to spec's the customer specifies.
if the customer wants a cheap fram they make one. the same customer may also make a better motorcraft if Ford wants something better. same thing with batteries. sthe same thing with batteries. just because they're made by one supplier doesn't mean they are either good or bad. just made to spec. for example CNH has one spec for a battery that may be ok. wallymart has a different spec that is not so good.
