Had a lot of cut offs, kindling and wood for your fire ring or pit here. About 4 wheelbarrows full. Put it the free section and said they could also have the blue tarp to protect their trunk or keep the wood dry when they got it home. Wood Is right by the tractor. Back up and load. Couple hours later a guy calls for the address and says he can be there in about 45 minutes. You can hear the baby in the background. Meanwhile another person texts and ask for the kindling. I tell them a pickup is pending. The first fellow came and was backed up and had a few pieces already in his suv before I even noticed he was here. So I helped him throw it in. Had to be careful of the baby in the child seat in the back though. We mostly boxed the kid in with the wood. Meanwhile he gets ahold of a really splintered piece of osb plywood and figures he'll eat that. But I didn't want him with splinters or eating the glue so I traded it for a clean piece of pine and he started eating that instead. Dad was happy to get the wood and we chatted for a bit. They were on their way. I had offered it to a couple friends of mine but they burn real wood and don't have time for no kindling. So I was happy to get rid of it with so little effort and glad to get a young fellow started on real wood and not that splintery, glued up osb stuff. So it was a successful ad. And that's the long and short of it.

Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
