Spent some time on the www and surprisingly enough located all parts I needed. Had to cherry pick as nobody had everything, but located all of them and yes I shopped YT first and found the 2 hoses I needed.
What really surprised me was that Alexander Tractor Parts, over in E. Texas had the pipe part which I figured I was not going to find, not a part like that on a '65 model tractor. But they had it and what's funny, they didn't have any of the connecting hoses! These guys have been rebuilding and selling OEM Ford parts for many years. One of their specialties is rebuilding 4 cylinder cracked heads....apparently that is quite common on that head...per their comments. On one of my 4000s I needed a head and bought the replacement from them. I was curious as to how they did it and they let me go to their machine shop and see how they did it. They have a process whereby they drill down the length of the crack and hammer in lead wire. Works as I never had a problem after installation.

After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
