Had orthoscopic on right shoulder 5 years ago, ground down spurs and such---listen to the doctor and do exactly what they say and do not try and rush the recovery and you will make out fine. I never had the pain after surgery to need any pain pills--so I made out great and would recommend getting it done now while it's super hot and not fit to do much of anything. Had mine done July the 3rd and was back trap shooting by November 1st
Only down side was for me sleeping in a recliner for 8 weeks, recliners are real nice for an hour or 2 but to try and do it for 8 weeks was a struggle for me. I like my tempurpedic too much.
