I can avoid sawdust too, especially fine oak, but I can't avoid diesel trucks polluting the air when I'm driving. I elect to stay away from diesel tractors, because of headaches and it feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest. I won't allow anyone to smoke in my shop, house or car. Extremely glad Indiana has a no smoking law, smoke free public places. I guess the guys at YT are smarter and know more than the Dr's at Mayo Clinic that say diesel exhaust causes cancer. Sure can't defend that argument.
Carcinogens not only cause lung cancer, it can cause other forms of cancer too.
I read some place fatty organs are humans toxic waste dump, liver, pancreas, brain.
Take lead in little kids. It attaches to brain cells and causes learning disabilities. A chemist got exposed to mercury, she had all sorts of brain issues.
I elect to limit my exposure to carcinogens. You may do what you want.
Again, I hope the EPA pushes for stricter standards concerning all forms of air pollution. I'm all for cleaner air.
