Installing that plate behind the cam gear is a fairly involved process. Obviously the front timing gear case of the engine will need to be removed as well as the side plate, valve cover, push rods and cam lifters to allow removal of the camshaft to press the gear off and back on. At least the radiator will have to be pulled to give clearance for cam removal. All the timing gears will have to be reinstalled and timed properly. Just shooting off the cuff I would say it is at least a 12 hour job by a fairly experienced mechanic. Get at least an IT repair manual for it, if you plan to attempt this repair. Of course you can ask questions on this forum as well during the process. Even though parts can just fail, efforts should be made determine if there was some issue that caused the failure.
