Enjoyed your photos of the car dealership, here's a few from my hometown, Tuscumbia, Al. First one is Denton Chevrolet, its here that I remember seeing my first new car on the showroom, a 1955 Chevrolet. 8 years later I bought my first car there, a 1954 Ford for which I still have the bill of sale. The second one is Morris Motors, a Nash dealership. Funny thing about the owner, Charlie Morris is he walked almost every where he went, very rarely rode in a car. The third one was a Ford Dealership, in 1964 the Mustang came out and the dealership gave away a new one. As a boy of 17 years i signed up many, many times for the drawing but to no avail. Later on it became a Pontiac Dealership, Harrison Reid Pontiac. It was here in 1969 I bought my first pickup truck, a 1953 Chevrolet. Hope you enjoyed the tour of the hometown of a 69 year old man.

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
