Just curious if any YTers are planning on coming to the Goessel Threshing Days show this weekend. I know in the past a number of you guys have been here but so far I've missed meeting any of you in person. A couple of us were talking this evening and thought it might be fun to set a certain time and place to get to know each other if anyone is planning on coming. The show goes all weekend but Saturday is the big day. We're featuring Oliver this year (the website below has an error - it has last year's feature listed) and work is being done to make sure our club's Cletrac 80 is up and running. Plans are to have a couple of steamers running along with a line-up of 100 year old prairie tractors. Of course the usual activities such as threshing, plowing, corn binding, ensilage cutting, and other field activities will also be taking place. If you're here flag me down and say hello - I'll probably be plowing or disking with a Farmall 350, helping out with the threshing machines, or just putzing around on a Power King or Deere M.

I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
