To bad the guy gave up on it. I can't blame him as it would have cost him to go over the field again and again tedding it out. Even if it were bleached straw, it would sell, maybe $1 or $2 per bale.
I'm guessing since it has set, there is mold. I'd normally want the bad hay off the field, especially if taking a second cutting. If not, Ted it out and bush hog it.
