So I got rid of my crutches Memorial Day weekend. Started half fast working shortly after that. I was pretty weak after 10 months of laying around and had gained some weight. But between working and doing this in my spare time I've gotten stronger. Anyway, I got one side of the roof sheathed. And today got the shingles up to the peak. The other side is still wide open so tomorrow I will move the scaffolding and start that side. This is a tough way to get back in shape though. My wife mentioned the other night that i was looking thinner. So I stepped on the scale last night and sure enough, I've lost 14 lbs. So if any of you wish to get on a good weight loss program go build yourself an addition. And if you don't see yourself shedding pounds you'll at least see some progress on the house.
