No. At least not the kind around here. It looks more like giant ragweed.
Pigweed is not a fibrous plant. It gets very large but does not get "woody" like lambs quarter and ragweed. One of the reasons pigs love it no matter it's size is that the stalks stay juicy and easy to eat even if they are the size of your wrist. It's also much easier to pull when large as it doesn't hold on as good. It can sure be a scourge. Thank heavens for Liberty Link.
