My experience with dealers is they have outrageously inflated prices on things like that, and they are not willing to negotiate. They would rather you buy a new tractor, and sell the old junker at the annual clearance auction for pennies on the dollar. If you pay their outrageous asking price they certainly won't discourage you, but as a general rule dealers tend to shoot for the moon on those old machines, hoping someone not too smart with a whole lot of money comes stumbling in.
