I spent 2 years on staff with the Superconducting Super Collider in Waxahachie, TX. before the fed closed it down. Talk about plazma, try running a beam of ions cw in a 54 mile (circumference) pipe focused by super cooled magnets running at 4 degrees Kelvin, at the speed of light and a second beam running ccw in the same tunnel at the same speed in an adjacent pipe and somewhere down the line some gutsy kook says switch em....meaning aim the beams at each other so that he and his buddies can see the "Top Quark" and it's buddies ................ That's plazma.
CERN in Switzerland is doing the same thing but their course is only 15 miles as I recall and survived as it didn't consume $$$$ at the rate we could and these things were just to prove that the physicists' equations were accurate in the first place.
