I like your pictures - very nice old cabin! I fixed one up that is very similar to the one in your post - lots of work.
Yours looks like all the logs were hewed with a broad axe, as is mine. I am trying to attach some "Before" and "After" pictures.
I had to get this one moved 2 miles (on skids). It was in too poor of a condition to leave it as is. The roof was in bad shape, the walls had holes in them from squirrels and porcupines, and the floor was bad.
It took me many, many week-ends to get it where it is in the "After" picture (I lived 60 miles away). I did run underground power to it.
We now stay in it in the summer; and yes, I dry walled it inside. I also have Mother's old ENTERPRISE wood burning stove inside.
