I would think it would depend if the buyer is going to use the tractor or just take it to parades.
Back in 02 I sold my grandparents farm equipment. Grandpa had several IH weights painted yellow.
I told the auctioneer the weights were IH not Deere. He said it did not matter. He sold the weights for for $60each. The buyer soon realized the weights were not John Deere. He complained. The auctioneer resold the weights. This time as IHC. The whole pile sold for $10.
