Can anyone give me information about the Farmall MDV dual fuel tractor pictured on the attachment? I was told that this tractor was one of five created as a prototype that never got into production. However I do not know how to authenticate this claim.
The tag reads: MDV FDBKV 106005.The casting number on the front fork reads 65083?. The question mark indicates a digit or letter that I can not read.
There's another small tag on the instrument panel that reads: NCC FOODS CORP. Under the lettering is the number 3100. Can anyone tell me where in 1947 the NCC FOODS CORP was located and what crops they grew for which they used a high crop tractor? That would be interesting to know as part of the history of this tractor.
The clearance from the horizontal portion of the front forks to the ground is 48 inches.
I would be grateful for any information about this tractor, or to learn if any collector or museum has one of the other four tractors that were allegedly produced in the same lot.
