have you ever ran one with a little pipe tube loader and no live power hydraulics and not to mention power steering ,,.? I am sure you can relate tothis story ? we borrowed the neighbors little ford and loader to clean out the barn , some 45 yrs ago ,. we usually forked about 40 loads each spring by hand on a 90 bu new idea pulled by the VAC,. wow ,.. we got a lot done with a grader blade and chains on the rear wheels ,. my older brother got real good at scooping andwe would ber rite there filling the loaderand or holding it all in as he shifted to neutral and raised the bucket , then grabbed reverse to head over to the spreader and then trip the bucket ,.. we started Friday after school,..and was all but done Saturday evening ,, , soon as we got home from church on sunday and had breakfast ,. my brothers and I ran down to the barn to finish the job ,,. I begged my brother for a chance to run the little ford,,.he gave in to this little 12 yr old kid ,,.. that little ford was tuf to steer , and all that clutching ,,,. good gawd! ,.. after I loaded the spreader, I was glad to give the ford back to my 14 yr old brother ,. and pinch hi t with Dad for the VAC loads ,..funny thing we thought we had it made with that little ford ,,..about that time the 1st yr of 165 masseys came out another neighbor got one with a loader and hydraulic bucket ,,. Wow . No clutching except to change gears , power steering and constant power to the hydraulix
