When you decide to adjust your clutch, be sure to push the clutch lever all the way foreward. You may have to use a piece of rope to hold it in that position. After that you will the adjust the 3 nuts on the plate. Once adjusted remove the rope and you shoul get a snap out of the clutch lever. I've done it before. Manuuals are a great help, You can write to Johnn Deere and get a list of manuals for that tractor, from hyraulics all the way to operators manual...
