Yeah, I know this isn't the "Tales" page but I'm going to do it anyway.
A farmer was working in a field by the road at the edge of a small town. A traveler came walking down the road carrying his posessions on his back. He said "what are the people like in this town"?
"What were the people like in the town where you left"?
"They were terrible, they were very unfriendly and rude" he said.
The farmer said "you will find the people of this town to be just like that".
A little later another traveler came down the road and he also ask what the people of the town were like. The farmer ask him "what were the people of the town you left like"?
"They were wonderful people, warm, friendly and very helpful" said the traveler.
At which the farmer said you will find the people of this town to be just like that...
