Went on a tractor drive a couple weeks ago, about 60 tractors,we did it on a Saturday and run back roads as much as possible. Fire dept and safety personal blocked intersections while we crossed which didn't take more than five minutes, I've waited longer than that in road construction. Roll back followed to pick up tractors that had problems (one did), over all it was a good ride and traffic wasn't held up to bad.
There's been and going to be days when your in a hurry to get somewhere and you'll get stuck in road construction, accident, behind a mail car, school bus, farmer moving equipment, or delivery driver trying to find the correct address.
It's aggravating getting stuck behind something or someone when your trying to keep a schedule, but that's life and I just deal with it, who knows I may be the one holding up traffic next month on another tractor drive somewhere or tomorrow when we move tractors and mowers from this farm to another one six miles away.
In a small town east of me the trains have blocked crossings for over 45 minutes at times.
