When Mom and Dad were newly married they were with some friends and in conversation Mom said she grew up on a farm was quite capable of shooting a deer come deer season. Dad laughed and said if you shoot a deer I will buy you a freezer to keep it in.(He was an accomplished hunter) Someone told someone and it was broadcast on the local radio station. And yes, Dad had to buy a freezer. This was about 1950 and the freezer still works.
